OUR STORY
Why CXY exists.
We live surrounded by short videos, reels, constant notifications, and an overwhelming stream of digital content. With so much competing for our attention, it can be hard to make time for focused reading, deeper thinking, and expressing our own thoughts.
CXY began with my own experience of consuming too much online content and wanting a different kind of space. I wanted somewhere calmer to discover useful information, read thoughtfully, write in my own words, share ideas, and connect with others.
CXY is a reading and writing platform, not a video platform. It welcomes anyone with something to say—including shy and introverted writers who would rather write than appear on camera. Here, your ideas can speak in your own words.

Hi, I'm Praveen Kumar, founder of CXY and Syllox.
I started CXY because I personally experienced how easy it is to consume too much content and how difficult it can become to slow down, think deeply, and give our attention to one thing at a time. We have endless feeds and short videos competing for our attention. I wanted to build something different—a quieter place where people can read, write, explore ideas, and share their thoughts without needing to make videos or show their faces.
CXY is my first step towards a bigger vision: Learn, Read, Write, Impact. These words may look simple, but I believe they can lead to meaningful change. Writing helps us express our thoughts. Reading helps us discover useful information and different perspectives. Impact is what we create when we put those ideas into action.
I don't want CXY to become another video or endless-scrolling platform. I want it to remain a clean, reading-and-writing-focused space where people can slow down, think, and connect through ideas. CXY is for anyone who wants to share their thoughts openly, including people who feel more comfortable expressing themselves through writing than through a camera.
Alongside CXY, I also built Syllox, a student-focused platform designed to help students organise and manage their preparation in a more structured way. Both projects come from a belief that technology should help people learn, grow, and make meaningful progress—not simply keep them occupied.
CXY is only the beginning. I'll keep improving it, listening to user feedback, and building features that make reading, writing, and sharing ideas a better experience.
My vision is a quieter digital space where people can learn, read, write, and make an impact through ideas.
