Delete your account

Before you continue

Deletion requires a recent password or Google sign-in and a final confirmation. You may begin while signed out. CXY will retain published articles without the author profile, remove your unpublished drafts and account-linked records, and retain uploaded images referenced by content that remains available.

Verify and confirm

Only the authenticated account owner can submit the deletion. The server validates the current Supabase session, checks that authentication was recent, and requires the exact confirmation phrase before beginning cleanup. Do not share your password or sign-in codes.

What deletion may affect

Account-linked database records, including your comments, reactions, follows, bookmarks, reading history, personal topic selections, and preferences, are removed according to the confirmed Supabase relationships. Notifications created by you have their actor reference cleared, while notifications addressed to your account are removed. Uploaded images still referenced by retained articles, comments, or profiles remain in their public buckets; backups and third-party caches may persist under their own retention rules.
